Frequently Asked Questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Cropping runs entirely on your device using Canvas. The page is static.
Will cropping remove my EXIF data?
Yes — Canvas re-encoding always drops metadata. If you need EXIF preserved, use a desktop tool instead.
What are the best ratios for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube?
Instagram square posts use 1:1; portrait/story uses 4:5 or 9:16; YouTube thumbnails and most video use 16:9.
Can I rotate or flip the image?
Yes — Single mode supports 90° rotation steps plus horizontal and vertical flips. Batch mode applies center-crop only.
Can I batch-crop images to different ratios?
Not in one batch — pick one ratio and apply it to all dropped images. Run multiple batches if you need different ratios.
